Bone Broth

Made by simmering fresh bones and meat in water with aromatics for many hours, bone broth is rich in minerals and nutrients while easily absorbed into our system. Bone broth helps calm the digestive tracks smooth tissue when it’s inflamed. I drink it for it’s “side effects”. Being extremely rich in protein, collegen & calcium. Since drinking a warm cup daily with a splash of apple cider vinegar ive noticed improvement in my skin, nails, digestion and hair

  • 1 whole pastured chicken with bones (including the giblets, wings, neck and back, if possible)
  • 4 quarts water
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 onion- whole unpeeled
  • 2 T unpasteurized apple cider vinegar
  • 1 piece Kombu seaweed
  • 1 bunch parsley
  1. In a large pot combine all ingredients
  2. Bring to a boil
  3. Reduce to a simmer
  4. Cover for 48 hours
  5. Strain- (reserve chicken for chicken salad, enchiladas, burritos etc.)
  6. Freeze or use
